He lived in Blenheim, NJ. Ferdinand or "Ferd" was the dearly beloved husband of Tina (nee Massa), the loving father of Maureen Avery (Matthew) of Naples, FL, and Denise DiRosa, Frank (Sandy) DiRosa, and Anthony (Laurie) DiRosa, all of Blackwood, the beloved step-father of Jennifer Holland (Joseph) of Phoenixville, PA, the dear brother of Rose Simpson of Chews Landing, NJ, Kay Caracciolo (Angelo) of Stone Harbor, NJ, and the late Marge Martin, the proud grandfather of Danielle, Billy, Chance, Dominic, Dylan, Dalton, Anthony, and his beloved lat granddaughter, Alexa DiRosa. Ferd is also survived by his mother-in-law Judy Massa of Blenheim; two sisters-in-law Judy Gore (Don) and Kathy Wells (Steve), both of Erial, NJ: and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ferd was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a life member of Glendora VFW Post #8714, and a member of Stetser-LaMartine American-Legion Post #281 of Chews Landing. He was a Licensed Surveyor by profession and a member of the Surveyors Association of West Jersey. He was also a long time member of 'The Breakfast Club'. Viewing for family and friends was held on Monday evening, February 4, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on Tuesday morning, Fedruary 5, from 8:30 am to 9:15 am, at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. His funeral mass followed the Tuesday viewing at 10:00 am at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 402 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ. Interment took place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ. Condolences may be viewed/posted at http://www.earlefuneralhome.com.
