Tom Staszewski died on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at his home in Blackwood, NJ. He was 61 years of age.
Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in Palmyra, NJ, before moving to Blackwood 3 years ago. He was a Mortgage Consultant for PHH Mortgage Solutions in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Tom was a musician and highly regarded by his peers for his drumming ability. Performing in the area since the 1960s, he played with groups such as the X-Ceptions, Cats, the Pepper Band, and, most recently, Bob Campanell.
Tom is survived by his wife Susan 'Suzy' (nee March), sons Thomas, Justin, Adam, and Owen; mother Anna Snyder; step-mother Margaret Staszewski; mother-in-law Thelma March; sisters Janis Valotta and Terry Benson; brothers Joseph and Mark Staszewski, Daniel and Bobby Friend, and John Snyder. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A viewing was held on Sunday, July 29, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Mt. Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ. Service and burial were private.
